Hi there,
does anyone know how to electrically shut down (power off) a workstation under DOS (any version) as in Win9x ? Existing utility, DLL call, asm or whatever ?
I'd like a workstation to be powered on by a human being, perform a lengthy batch process, and then power off by itself.
Reply by email would be greatly appreciated, but I'll check this board as well.
TIA
PS: remove the obvious for email reply.

I found a site that has a program written in Visual Basic with source. I haven't tried it, but it looks like what you need.

Thanks, but I'm looking for a way to do this in real DOS, no DOS box under Windows.
