how can I run aplications on dos with XP/WINDOWS 2000 OS, I can't since I've moved to XP/W2K from WINDOWS 98 thanks a lot

There is no DOS in Windows XP. It is based on the 32-bit NT kernel. Most DOS programs and even a lot of DOS games should still run in XP, but if they won't you'll have to use a DOS startup disk.

you may need to run the program compatibility wizard. it is in all programs, accessories, system tools. Microsoft placed this here for this specific reason. It may not solve you're problem though. you may have to multiboot or use a boot disk, but it's worth a shot. the wizard doesn't have a setting for dos but try the 95/98 settings.
