OS: DOS 7.1
CPU/Ram: Shouldn't matter
Comment:

Is it possible to take external commands (specifically 'Net') from say, a windows 2000 computer and put them on a dos OS? If so, how do I do it? Just copy the file, put it on a floppy and stick it in the same directory as command.com? If so, will the OS register the syntax of it (so I can 'net /?'), or is there something else that must be done?

This is unusual, I know.

Long live DOS, and down with computer illiteracy.

NT/W2K/XP/W2K3 are not based on DOS and only emulate MSDOS therefore you should use DOS based Windows 9x/ME or even MSDOS Network Client 3:

The site you gave me has a link to the microsoft ftp server...which seems to no longer be running. Any other place I can download the WG1049.exe file?
