Comment:

I have the need to network two windows based pcs with a dos machine that runs a bulletin board system. The dos machine requires share, and uses ems for the bbs. Is it possible to also install the dos server software needed to interface the two windows based pcs? My goal is that callers can dial into the bbs by modem, and then have access to the two other pcs via the network. Can this be done? If so, how? Any ideas will be appreciated.

Or if its just the client(?) you need
(there's two files there; you need both of them):

You can use TCP/IP with MS Client, just choose it from the MS Client
setup [1]. The net drivers can be loaded high if you need to conserve
conventional memory. If your NIC isn't on the supplied list, see [2].

Then add server capability by modifying system.ini for file and
printer sharing and adding 'net start server' to the autoexec.bat file
[3] and upgrade net.exe by running WG1049.exe or NNET.exe [4].

Set up your shared resources on the DOS servers with netshare [5].

Thanks for the info. WG Add-on is not the easiest thing to find. If anyone knows of an alternative DOS network redirector, I would appreciate the info. The MS Client one uses too much memory, we have a legacy app and would like to write data to a mapped drive. Netbeui, IPX, TCP/IP is acceptable.
