i want to connect to the internet through dos but cannot get Arachne to detect my modem.
I have not idea how to set up a PPP or anything like that. My Modem is a USB 56kbps modem.
You can not use an USB modem with DOS, you need an Hardware modem either ISA bus internal hardware type or a cheap and cheerful external serial connection hardware "Hayes" compatible Modem.
