I recently tried to install a DOS game (Might and Magic II) off of a CD called Challenge Pack Games (or something). Because I have Win98, I installed the few necessary older windows files that should have allowed the game to run, including a tweak or two to the config file. However, after I install the game and attempt to run it through DOS as it should be done, it gives me the message "Invalid drive Specification." I thought it was rather strange. I installed it onto my hard drive (C:) but I run it from my first CDROM drive (E:). I have no idea why my game refuses to run, but any bit of advice or help would be appreciated.

I have the newest Might and Magic game, but hey... I still love the old ones.

While I've never ran the program you're talking about, when I've experienced that problem, it was caused by the configuration file referring to the incorrect letter for the CD. So, I would recommend double-checking the configuration file (if it's a text file) for references to other CD drive letters, like D:\, or Q:\, etc, and change them as needed to E:\, assuming you find them.
