Anyone know how to increase available DOS file handles in NT Workstation 4.0? Files=100 in CONFIG.SYS isn't working.

the config.sys is practically dead in NT
the config.sys and autoexec.bat is only processed during bootup to check for environtment variables.
the files setting is located in c:\winnt\system32\config.nt
on my win xp (nt 5.1) system, its set to 40, but im sure you can change it to 100 in there.
im sure theyed be able to help you more in the nt group
