DOS Emulation Print Job
Name: Matt Date: November 5, 2002 at 13:38:47 Pacific OS: 98 se CPU/Ram: Various
Comment:
20 Win98 SE Machines networked in the same workgroup. 10 of them are sharing various printers, such as Lexmark and HP.
At random times throughout the day, each of the 10 shared printers will simultaneously print a 345 page DOS Emulation Print Job.
What in the world could be causing this? Any ideas are GREATLY appreciated.

What is the print job? Is it a new printout or is it an old spooled job. From which workstation is it originating.

The printout is just 2 lines of symbols on each sheet and seems to be a new job everytime. Not sure which workstation it is originating from.

I have the same exact problem happening on my home network. DOS Emulation Print Job, 345 pgs, two lines of spiffy hieroglyphics per page. Will consult Dr. Norton and report his diagnosis.
Anyone need some scrap paper? :)
