I was wondering if anyone knows of a good EMAIL program for DOS.

I like the build in client from Arachne, but its too slow on XT computers.

POPML322.ZIP works fine but the only problem is I cannot write more than 1 email message when I am offline.

I wasn't able to install Pegasus Mail for DOS (until now).

Other programs I found but I have not tested are: REAL210.ZIP and SMTPOP11.ZIP

I like POPMAIL 3.22 best until now, because its fast. I don't need graphics when sending and receiving email!

Try BareBone email system at

It is very well documented, works smooth and stable

Give it a try

Or you can try ARACHNE(one of the
best Internet browsers for DOS).
It can also send/receive E-mails.
But it is fullscreen graphical.
