Does anyone have or know how to get a DOS-based program for esteblishing a directcableconnection (such as Fastlinx as I once had)?? Please help me, need to save data from windows crashed machine
If you had looked down within the last 15 or so messages, You would have seen one for Laplink (LL3.EXE) and one for Interlink (INTERLINK FILE TRANSFERS) One gives a download location for Laplink, And both a download site for FastLynx (Note Spelling)
Interlnk comes with MSDOS. If you do not have it, it is not at all hard to find, and it does do the job. I always use interlnk when my windows machine f*cks up. If you get interlnk.exe, you need to get intersvr.exe too.

Summary: I have 5 words for you, "Inter Link and Inter Serv". These two programs make up DOS's equivelent of Laplink, and I might add work great, unlike 9x's Direct Cable Connection. You have to load Interln...
