I Did a dos backup on Win98, using Pastel Accounting. Now I cannot restore the data on the new PC. (The old one is gone!) I'm sure the backup was done in DOS, because it opened a DOS window with a promt to the effect of "insert backup disk 1 into drive a:\" and "warning, all data on disk in drive a: will be erased" and "press any key to continue".
Could anyone please tell me what to do, as I am an accountant and NO computer fundi!?
