dos boot disk and fdisk

Hi: I am trying to make a boot up disk which has fdisk on it. When I try to copy fdisk it always says file not found. is fdisk a hidden file how do I copy it onto a disk? What else do I need on this disk? I want to wipe out my hard drive and install win 98? Thanks

FDISK is not a hidden file (or at least should not be). The name of the actual file isn't fdisk but fdisk.exe (or fdisk.com in some older DOS versions). If you are using the DOS that came with Windows 98 or 95, type, at the command prompt:
