dos as default OS on a win98 system

Hi,
Does anybody knows if is possible to load dos as default OS, on a system that now is running win98, without reinstalling windows

A DOS user would never get that problem, and so a DOS user would not know the answer.
I think you should ask that question in the Win 9x forum.

However you can edit the msdos.sys file
and set bootGUI=0
Thus your computer will boot in dos 7.00
and you need to write "win" to load win98

Use a Boot Editor such as TweakUI which comes with Windows 98 or BootEdit which comes with the Win98 Resource Kit to alter settings in MSDOS.SYS if you do not like to alter a system file directly!
