CPU/Ram: 486DX 3mb

Is DOS 7 a standalone Dos system or must it be run with Win and would it replace the Dos 6.2 OS I'm currently using?? My harware is a bit ancient as you can see.

Thanks SkipCox. --- I have downloaded the .zip files and will try installing them but still not sure if I have enough RAM etc to support Dos 7 --- will post again if I run into problems.
