Reply: the command is:
format c: /s
c: would be the target hard drive and the /s places the 3 bootup files (io.sys msdos.sys command.com ) on the drive.

Reply: Youn need to format your machine via a MS-DOS Boot Disk plus Format.Com & Sys.exe
Start PC with Boot Disk At the DOS prompt type format c: /s and press enter.
You will however need other MS-DOS files to fully use your PC!
