DOS 6.22 on Virtual PC wont install

Trying to install DOS 6.22 on a virtual pc (MS Virtual PC), and am constantly asked for "Disk 1".

I have set the labels on the disks to various combos suggested in a much earlier thread in these forums, but cannot seem to get this sorted out, ANY help would be greatly appreciated!

Then try a different version of DOS instead?

There is only one way SETUP will accept:

You must use all 11 spaces in the disk label as shown-

DISK            1

Thats DISK followed by 6 blank spaces
then 1 2 or 3 dependant on disk number

To do this boot with install disk 1, Exit to DOS Prompt by pressing F3 when insructed and type LABEL and press Enter and type in the new disk label.

Change disks and re-label disks 2 & 3 which also need correct label to continue.

How come SETUP for the old DOS 6.22 is so picky? This problem has surely been fixed in SETUP for the newer version of DOS.
