Dos 6.2.2 5 1/4

Comment:
I have Dos 6.2.2 on 5 1/4 disks. To install it I need to boot off the first disk. In my cmos I can not select the B:\ drive as the boot drive only A or C or A then C and so on but no B. So I tried to copy the Dos 5 1/4 disks to regular floppys but the machine does not see the floppy I made with the dos files as a bootable disk.

Pretty easy, really. Change the position of the floppy drives on the connecting cable--the "A" drive is always on the "end" and "B" is in the "middle". Reset the Bios to reflect the type of drive that is now "A"--5 1/4, 1.2 mb, Shove your setup disc in there and boot er up

If the above first choice answer does not work.....get a copy of Winimage.
Make images of the 5.25's and then write them to 3.5's.
