Comment:
Is there a way to disable the F8 key during boot, so there is no way of halting the boot process ?

I take it you are useing Windows 95 or 98. Thier is a utility called BootEdit that will do what you want, plus a cartload of other changes. It is part of the Win98 Resource Kit.
Download it from my resource site http://www.powerload.fsnet.co.uk (or Click on link at top of this message)

Edit your config.sys in c:\ add or modify -------------------- switches=/n --------------------- /n prevents you while booting to use F5 or F8.
