pls tell me the differences and similarities between dos and unix(particular in their capabilities and the command task is performed)

Similarities:
1)Use a command line

Diferences:
1)Unix is case sensitive, dos is not
2)Unix has multitasking, ms-dos doesn't (some versions of DOS like DR.DOS have multitasking I think)
3)In Unix you use the / but in DOS u use the \
4)Unix is a bit more complicated that MS-DOS
5)Unix is more stable than MS-DOS (I think)

Unix is more for servers than for personal computers (thats what everyone keeps saying), MS-DOS is more for the home user. In my personal opinion UNIX lets you have more control over the stuff you do. But they kinda have same basic commands
