I'm creating a restoration CD for the Dell Dimension XPS R400 machines at my school. I want to make sure that nobody accidentally uses the CD on a PC that's not a Dell Dimension XPS R400. I was wondering if anybody knows of a utility for Dells that tells you the Dell's model number from DOS. That would be really helpful. I'm open for suggestions/other methods of doing this, too.
