I cleared temp internet files from my internet browser. I do it quite often but I understand that if you dont clear them out of dos then there still taking up space and slowing your system down. Where do I go in dos and what command do I put in to delete temp internet files. Hope someone can help. Thank you very much

If you want to clear the temp files and cookies in Win98 then exit to dos and do this:
Go to your C:\WINDOWS directory, then type
DELTREE /Y TEMPOR~1 DELTREE /Y COOKIES
On next boot-up Windows will re-create these two directories again. Well it works for me anyway :-)
