Tried to delete password but it continues to tell me wrong password until it finally asks me to shut down. It also throws up messages telling me bad file name bad command.

Hi,
Is the password a shared password when you start win95?

Is it a bios password?

I guess what I am asking is "What program is prompting you for a password" . If you no longer know the correct password because you have forgotten it there are password crackers that can help.

Just wondering.

Ray here,like the last response
iam not sure if your talking about a power on password.If you are you will need to clear the bios from the systemboard,this is done by changeing jumpers on your systemboard.you can find details in your systemboard user manaul.hope this helps
