Is it possible to clean up and defragment the hard drive in DOS? I am running 6.0. If so, what and where do I get the best program to do this? Thanks for taking time to answer this post.

Yes. Microsoft Defragmenter comes with DOS 6.0 and later. Use the DEFRAG command at the C:\> prompt.
