I downloaded this file & when I unzipped it it said crc failed when extracting zip files. I tried twice. I contacted the web admin & he said it worked just fine for him. I then downloaded it again, unzipped it & it said the same thing. What does this error mean? I do think it is something wrong with the file or it would not give me this message.

The file is probably becoming corrupt during the download, by timing out or something. You need to make sure you are getting a complete version of the file by comparing the file-size of your downloaded copy (in bytes) with the webmasters copy.
Summary: Hmmm, Please excuse me............ Will send a copy of pkzipfix to you if needed. Will search the Library for a program that fixes crc errors. Or....you know...if you tell me what doom2 and what disk ...
Summary: It is true that one good FAT table might be enough, trouble is scandisk might not be able to tell a good table from a damaged one, unless the table has a CRC error....
