Hi, until now my DOS-games have functioned perfectly. Nowadays when I try to play one of my flight simulators or some my 3d-shooters the game freezes right away or after some while.
Sometimes I get the following message:
total memory available 3221 1032, in 16 blocks (with 381 328 base)
missing or invalid 386fx driver
DOS/4GW error(2001): exception 0Eh
(page fault) at 160:00000009
TSF32:PREV_tsf32 5284

My Computer: AMD-K5 133, 48m RAM, HD 1,7G,
Nokia 17" ZiPlus, s3Virge 4m graphics card,
44X cd-drive.
What's the problem? Didn't have these problems with my DOS-games earlier.
What has changed: Bought, installed &played Westwood's Bladerunner, bought this new Nokia-monitor, after this the DOS-games and some win95 games don't run.
I appreciate if somebody could help me or give some hints how to solve this problem.
Petri ;)

I think it would be your new monitor. Have you changed your display drivers since you got it?

Yes, I have changed the display drivers, I think, otherwise it wouldn't work or would it (the monitor)?
Why do I get problems only with the games, not when I'm using Ms-word or other programs?

because the games are the only things that access your higher graphics modes. try loading windows, right-clicking the background, going to properties, and then the settings tab. try seeing how high your resolution can go and if it works higher up.

I looked in DOS4GW.exe -> the error you were having was being caused by whatever executed just before DOS4GW, there is no such error inside DOS4GW.exe (the page fault error belongs to dos4gw.exe however)
