While that is true, and I'm all for reducing the number of nonDOS XP questions here in this forum, copy is basically the same in 'real' DOS as it is in XP's emulation.

From the XP Command Reference:

COPY

The basic syntax you're looking for would be:

copy a:\file.ext c:\yourfolder



Tech Support: "I need you to boot the computer."


Customer: THUMP! Pause. "No, that didn't help."
