Hi....have an older computer 730 hd, pentium 60 40 m memory. I cleared the HD & want to put DOS 6.22. Have the disks but found out the No 1 disk is unreadable & my back up copy is bad also, so inlies the problem & I have lost lots of hair trying to figure this out and get this far. Is it possible to download DOS6.22 onto another computer, unzip it and take the needed files & copy them to the hard drive & install from a test folder on the older computer? I'm able to boot it up, fdisk & format. Just tring to get the old computer up & running again. Thanks in advance.
