Computer hung during cold boot

It hung and went to the bios menu after the third attemp to boot. On the bios menu it had a message of " During the last boot-up, your system hung for an improper CPU internal frequency setting.

In BIOS check to see that the frequency (speed) is correct for your CPU.

If you have a Pentium 90 then the setting is 90 MHz (Megahertz), etc...

However, if you or someone else did not change the setting in the first place or you didn't just upgrade to a new processor then you better check all the settings in BIOS.

If you are not familiar with all that stuff call someone that is or take it to the shop.
