Can anyone provide me with any advice with getting a Compaq Netelligent 10/100 cardware nic running in DOS on a Compaq armada 1750? We have tried contacting Compaq with no results. The problem is, as soon as we attempt to talk to the card, the whole system freezes. It gets as far as saying :
"Compaq Netelligent 10/100 PC Card Controller NDIS v2.80 (981109)
Copyright(C) 1988, Compaq Computer Corporation."

and then it freezes. The pc still responds to num-lock and Caps-lock but effectively is frozen.

Any help??? :) Considering it's a compaq, Id not be suprised if it is designed not to work under a DOS environment....

Cheers,

Steve.
