Help Trying to get a 486 running dos 6 to recognise my compact flash card. Have old version of cardsoft that is fime with older pcmcia 32MB ata flash, but compact flash cannot be fomated. The drive is not recognised....any suggestions
Try a different version of "Card and Socket Services"

I expect it may be a BIOS issue as far as I am aware Compact Flash Media is ATA66 complient, whereas your PC and most P1/P2 PC's are ATA33/UDMA33/EIDE33 or whatever you wish to call it. I think Linux may not have this compatibility issue but not sure.
