Comment: I have ms dos 7.0 which came with Windows. Many commands have been removed when upgrading from 6.22. Is there a way to get those commands back somehow that u had in 6.22 and don't anymore in 7.0. Could u just find the removed .com and .exe dos commands on the net and put them into c:\windows\command? Or the only way is to downgrade dos.

Reply: (edit)DOS 7 is for use with Windows95 and does not have any advantages over DOS 6.22 unless you plan on using Windows95 all the time. My advice to you is to stay with DOS 6.22 if you plan to primarily operate in the DOS world. Otherwise, use Win95 as your primary operating system and open DOS windows as needed. Lastly, you can "dual boot" DOS 6.22 and Windows95 (DOS 7). Read your Windows95 manual to see how dual-booting works.
