can anyone help. I need an old colpy of command.com for a 286 toshiba t1000le laptop. Ive no idea how it got corrupted, but the system will not boot, and when i use a boot disk i have freom a win95 machine, it says windows needs 386 proc. or better....
Can anyone let me know where i can download the 286 proc. version???

Hi,
To help you we need to know exact DOS version you're using. Each version of DOS use its own command.com and you can't use command.com file from other version.

try this sight for dos 5.0 for 386s http://www.threepointone.2000c.net i just redid and old 386 with win 3.1 and used dos ver 6.22 good luck
