In the FAQ section under "Hardware Management" the following Q&A can be found:
"Question:
Clearing the hardisk.
Answer:
Save the file Killhdd.bat to a floppy boot disk with the program DEBUG.exe on it. Boot up with the floppy disk and run Killhdd.bat to remove all data on the 1st hard disk on your computer. You can edit the file to change which disk it will clear... This will remove everything from your disks, including the errors. One you've done that, just reboot and use your hard drive as if it were brand new."Any suggestions for what to do if you don't have a floppy with a file for "Killhdd.bat" and the old 486 computer you're working with doesn't seem to have this file on it, either? The 486 won't boot up unless I've got a Windows95 boot disk in drive A. I'm hoping that if I can get the hard drive wiped clean that I'll be able to install MS-DOS 6.2 or 6.22, and I've used the "format c" command after booting up to the A drive to reformat the C drive, but even that has not enabled me to load MS-DOS. Any ideas?

That FAQ also provides a link where you can download killhdd.bat. Go back and check it again and you'll see one of the times it mentions killhdd.bat, it is underlined. Click that and download that file. As for debug, that can be found (most easily) on the boot disk Mick C. provides. Click here and you'll see my last post tells exactly where to get this boot disk.

Tim, tell us what problems you are encountering, all kilhdd does is overwrite the MBR, it won't as stated clear bad sectors, in fact it'll leave all your data in place as well. It's not a miracle cure.

Why do you need the Killhdd.bat.?? if you want to clean the hard drive why don't you just run fdisk and delete the primary partition and recreate it again and then format the drive with the format c:/s command....and as for fixing errors on the drive,if your talking about bad cluster then your lttle file won't fix that.....the first time you run scandisk and do a surface scan it will mark the bad clusters....if you don't do that then it is possible to have errors copying files to the hard drive....

is there any software about that will
reallocate bad clusters with the spare places
available on the hard disk drives,so as to
repair the drive.
