is there anyway to change the windows wallpaper by using only a batch file?

Yes, that's possible, at least on Win98. The system (in your case, WinXP PRO) probably has a file where it stores the wallpaper name and location. On Win98, it's the file win.ini, on the windows folder. However, I don't know where is that information stored on WinXP.

If you can find out that, I might be able to make a batch file to automatically change it.

However, that information is more likely to be obtained on the Windows XP forum.

why make it difficult, when it is easy ?

the .bmp file is located somewhere in your windows folder

create the batchfile, it manipulates this bmp file .. !

dunno how it is on XP
