Hi

I have an executable pile (Perl) in directory\filename C:\Perl\Bin\perl.exe.

I would be grateful if anyone could give me the appropriate commands to change the pathname, so that I am able to execute Perl from C:\> or/and C:\Perl

Many Thanks for any help

To change to a different drive, type the drive letter followed by :

Add C:\Perl\Bin\perl.exe to the "Path=" line in the autoexec.bat. Then you will be able to just type perl.exe (enter) at the c:\.

Add C:\Perl\Bin; to the "Path=" line in the autoexec.bat. You don't need the file name. Also remember that the line has a 127 character limit.
