Central Point PC Tools

Comment:
I stopped purchasing PC Tools with 8.0 This stopped working with anything faster than a Pentium I. I would love to be be able to use PC Tools especially since most of my work is done in DOS (detest Windows -- greatest marketing fraud of all time). Is there a version which will work with Pentium III and XP or ME? Are additional patches reuired?

PCTOOLS 9.0, and 9.0A (latest version) work in fast machines, but probably not under Windows because most of the included utils access directly to the disk, so a NTFS or FAT32 system would be incompatible.
Take a look at Norton Utilities 8 (Symantec bought Central Point). It has somme patches available from Symantec for making it work under FAT32 drives.
