Central point backup

We have old backup files that where done with central point backup a couple of years ago. We need to recover the files but the software that was used to backup the files does not work any more. Are there any kind of utility that I can make use of to restore files with the following name: eg. cpbackup.001 the second file is cpbackup.002 etc.
