CD-ROM won't spin-up

I have a 50x ATAPI CD-ROM that quit working one day. It won't spin up when i put a cd in no matter what. One day it started working all of a sudden but then it quit again. It's getting power. I can even eject from the cd-rom right click menu. It just won't pick up any cd's. Anything would help. Thanks!
