i have a problem, I hooked up my NEC CDR-272 to my 486/33 but there is something wrong with it orr the sofware, it cannot find the cdrom drive and it is set for slave, the hard drive i have when i turn on the computer, it does not do a flash, but when i turn it one wit the cdrom drive, the H.D.D light does a blink with the drive and when it looks for the drive when it is loading the drivers, it says, DRIVES NOT FOUND, ABORTING INSTALLATION. then it loads the MSCDEX which does not help, so i did not know what to do, i try the CD-ROM test also, it says MSCDEX not loaded and there is no drive letter, it automatically editted the main files "autoexec.bat and config.sys" so i really need some help, Even people from The NEC company can help, which i doubt.
