Comment:

I'm trying to re-install Windows XP PRO or Win2K Server from my floppy drive.

I get the following message:

====== EXCEPTION ========
Trap 0000006
tgw blah blah blah...

I have no OS installed on either hard drive as I have just FDISK'ed my hard drives....but I can boot from floppy.

What gives with this? Is my IDE Controler bad?

Thanks,

Eric

Ain't it strange that both OS' are made by MS hehe, I'm no genius bud but try booting from the Windows CD ROM. Go to your BIOS and tell it to boot from your CD ROM first.

Good luck
