If its an IDE cd rom drive the easiest way I suggest is to download an universal driver 'or so it claims'..

In autoexec.bat put: c:\dos\mscdex.exe /d:mscd000 In config.sys device=[driver] /d:mscd000 e.g. device=c:\cdrom\philips.sys /d:mscd00
