Can't get into the C:\ drive

Help. Not only can't I start Win 95 but when I go into DOS I can't acces the hard disk. Also sometimes when I try to it says:
"Volume in drive C:\ has no Label."

Help, Please!!!!!!.....

"Volume in drive C:\ has no Label." is no problem. it shouldn't affect it at all. If you want to "label" it then do just that. The label command in DOS will work, as well as in Win95, while in Windows Explorer, right click the drive, select properties and give it a name.
