I am trying to setup a dual boot system with NT and Win98. I have a SCSI CDROM, that i need to install drivers for.
I want to install Dos 6.22 to my primary partition, so i can load the drivers.
I keep getting "Non system disk or disk error" with disk 1 of the 3 dos 6.22 install disks.
I should be able to boot with Disk 1 shouldnt i?
If not anyone know of a way to install Dos 6.22 to an unformatted drive?

The reason you cannot boot from the disk is because it was not coppied correctly. It must be coppied using the DISKCOPY command for it to be an exact copy of the bootable original. I know this because I had the same situation when a friend of mine gave me a copy of a DOS 6.22 installation setup on three disks and I was unable to boot from it. I found out later my friend had incorrectly coppied the disks. She then coppied the originals again, but this time with the DISKCOPY command and they were bootable and worked fine. I am currently running a tripple boot system with DOS 6.22, NT 4.0, and Solaris 7. You can't even imagine the hell it took to get there! So believe me when I say 'I FEEL YOUR PAIN!!!'

You can't boot if it a upgrade disk. Start
with 6.2 then install 6.22. And by the way
6.22 will delete doshell. Why would you
want 6.22 anyway 6.2 is all you realy need.
