Yes!

Assuming your browser is in your path, try this:

iexplore www.yahoo.com

or

iexplore c:\index.html

I Don't know if this will work for netscape but it works for IE.

i think he means execute a batch file *from* a web page. the answer to that would be 'no', since it's retarded.

Actually, it is possible to run a batch file from Netscape and possibly other browsers according to a reliable source.

http://www.maem.umr.edu/documentation/application.launcher.html

I have not experimented with this myself, but you can also ask Ted Davis in

alt.msdos.batch
