Comment:

I am registering a number of exes from a batch files and I want to detect when an exe fails to register.

I know that with regsvr32 you can do it

i.e. regsvr32 -r -c ThisFile.ocx

will return the result of the registering to the console - I need to do the same for exes either return success of failure(or an error flag) to screen or to a file.

Any body know how this can be done?

use a batch file. or even a .CMD file. its just a series of commands in a textfile with a .CMD or .BAT extension.
