I want to boot the computer in dos mode using floppy drive but I have some limits:
*the bios is configured not to boot from floppy drive
*the bios is password protected and I haven't the pass

(I know there're some ways to reset and/or remove the bios settings like
1.removing the computer battery or motherboard's jumper
2.using the dos debug command to delete it
3.using cracking software to use another password instead of the real one or delete it
but I don't want to use them)

However I used the F4 button on the system startup and was able to start a dos

booting from the floppy drive but the problem is that:
on the contrary of booting in dos using a well configured BIOS which has the priority to

boot from floppy in which you will have access to HARD Drives or CD Drives, in this

way it doesn't recognize and install the drivers needed to use them so on changing the

drive for example to C: you'll get an error.
At the end I need a BOOT DISK which loads the HARD DRIVES and CD DRIVES

while I've used the F4 BUTTON in order to BOOT in dos mode using FLOPPY DRIVE
at computer's start.

If there is a downloadable BOOT DISK including this properties where can I download
it?
Otherwise how can I prepare ONE myself?

I must admit your post is totally confusing, especially as this is the DOS Forum and Windows XP (and NT4, W2K, W2k3) has no MSDOS underneath as does W9x/ME.

BIOS is O/S independent and has no bearing on wether you are going to use DOS, NT, BeOS, Unix etc as an O/S

There are literally hundreds of Boot Disks for very many purposes, not always written in MSDOS or equivelent.

XP itself has a set of SIX setup disks which can be used to install/repair, but this is not MSDOS it is COMMAND PROMPT.

Either a PC can boot from a floppy or it can not, this is BIOS dependent, so what is your question and would it not be better in the correct forum??

If you can't see the hard drive from a floppy DOS start, you likely have the NTFS file system on the HDD - not supported under DOS.

CD drives typically require drivers under DOS.

Yes, your question is a confusing welter of half understood processes and odd restrictions - not to mention your.. er.. unusual writing style - all of which detract from the post's comprehensibility

Simply I want to boot using any floppy disk without setting the BIOS(or I dont know CMOS) to detect the floppy drive before hard drive.

But the problem is this, that I think it is possable only by pressing the F4 function key (considering this weird situation) at computer startup.and in this order WHY when i have booted this way (using Win98 Startup disk) it doesnt understand my HARD DRIVE?

in addition Have you ever pressed the F4 key before seeing the system selection and after the first screen(the screen which is displayed also if you have put a floppy in floppy drive or a bootable cd.Of course with a well configured BIOS/CMOS).

If your hard drive is bootable, and is listed before the floppy in the BIOS boot order, than you will not be able to boot from the floppy drive. The use of F4 is a function of your OS boot from the hard drive.

You list your OS as XP - - IF your HARD DRIVE uses the NTFS file system, then it will NOT be seen by DOS, which can only read FAT & FAT32.

Try the XP forum - sorry, but what you want either makes no sense or isn't possible - although it may be that I still don't know what you mean (since you seem top be mixing XP with Win98 - neither of which is really applicable in the DOS forum)
