Hi,

I want to create a bootcd of a hard disk
containing MSDOS 6.22 and many other utilities i need to have in case of emergency (NORTON GHOST, PARTITION MAGIC etc.).
I have found all the utilities& ms dos files i want to install into the hd. Now since i use NERO 5590 i go to bootcd options and it says tt for a hard drive to be booted fm a cd must be a logical drive. I create a logical drive by using PMAGIC 7 but when i try to install MSDOS 6.22 it wants to be installed only to C: drive which is my primary drive containing XP. How can i tell it not to be installed there but on d: which is the logical drive?

Thanks

Not all motherboards will let you boot from a CD. You can find out in your cmos, though.
If I remember, there's several steps you have to take in making a boot CD. I found it once on the internet. Run a search on
"boot CD" - maybe you'll find it. Good luck.
