Comment:
Hi,

I am trying to create a bootable DVD to install harddrive images onto several computers.

This worked fine until we got new computers where the DVD is connected to SATA. The DVD boots fine but when it is supposed to read from itself and run the image restoring program it fails to find the DVD.

If I disable RAID the GCDROM driver seems to work. Though I want to have RAID enabled when I read the image back. Any suggestions?

The computer is a HP DC5750.

I’m shocked that you computer even boots with the CD/DVD rom
Sata Raid Aray detection on. Its posable that you bios sees that your
CD rom does not support Raid device then disables it. And other
computers may not due this. This could be your problem.
Although I may be wrong and your CD/Rom does support SATA RAID
There should be a pre windows install disk.

Hi
Have no solution but we have the same problem with the "HP DC5750" we have tried eltorito and GCDROM driver and have same experience as you, it works with RAID disabled.
