Having problem using my network boot cd with my dell laptop C640 it works ok with a floppy disk with the same data on it, I have changed settings in the Bios so it looks at CD first but it comes up with funny charcters then stops. I can get the cd to work on a desktop with the same network card fine. Thanks for any help in advance

I do not think this is a DOS question? Ghost 7.5 is a windows only? try W2K forum?

I think the PC dos problem. I have the same problem with ghost 7.5 when making bootable cd. If I use EZ CD creator and make a bootable cd with Windows 95/me, no problem, but not PC dos at all. BTW, i tried in a dell and a gateway, same problem.

EZ CD creator Roxio etc etc are Windows software therefore there is an incompatibility, it may be to do with windows dos but nothing to do with pure DOS.
If you want to burn CD's in pure DOS try: http://www.freeweb.hu/doscdroast/index.html.
THIS SHOULD BE IN WINDOWS FORUM

Try using a windows 98/95 floppy boot disk when prompted for boot disk and don't use the pc dos version. This worked for me using ghost 7.5. Good Luck.
