when i turn the computer on it goes to a blue screen an says its restoring registry...then it goes to another screen with a box in the middle that says...
"you have restored a good registry"
"windows has found an error in your system files and restored a recent backup of the files to fix the problem...press enter to restart computer"
then when you press enter it restarts and jus does the same thing over and over agen...
what is this and how can it be fixed?

You may try this, and see if it works:

SCANREG /FIX

But you'd better ask this question in the Win98 forum, as you have a better chance to be answered there.
